Measles is a dangerous and extremely contagious disease. We urge all of our patients 12 months and older to get the MMR vaccine as soon as possible if they have not yet received it. If we begin to see more cases of measles, we will offer the vaccine to all infants 6 months and older.
Remember 😀 we administer vaccines every day of the week except Mondays. If your child is due for their Pertussis booster, please call ahead to let us know you're coming! If you're unsure of your childs vaccine status, feel free to call us and we will gladly check.
We are presently seeing cases of RSV, Influenza A & B, COVID, Human Metapneumovirus, Rhinovirus/Enterovirus, and Parainfluenza(Croup). Illness caused by these virus can range from mild to severe.
Also, we continue to see cases of Strep Throat and Conjunctivitis .
For information on these illnesses and your child symptoms, please refer to our Resources tab and click on "Is Your Child Sick?".
Feel free to call us with questions or concerns. Remember, we always have same day appointment times available to see our patients!
